My name is George and I am 37 years old. I am an Arizona native and I have lived in the Phoenix metro area my entire life. I currently live in the town of Buckeye, Arizona, and have been here for 4 years. I have been married for 9 years and I am a proud father to my 8 year old autistic son. My wife runs an in-home daycare business during the week, and I clean / repair retro games and systems in the evenings and on the weekends.
Almost two years ago I lost my job of 8 years due to a medical condition. Finding myself at home and in need of income, I decided to turn my misfortune into an opportunity. Isn't that the American way? :) I figured I could sit around and feel sorry for myself or I could try and find a new way to generate some income from home.
Since I had been selling video games off and on via eBay for over 10 years, I decided to pursue that avenue full time and turn my hobby into my job. Unfortunately, the fees on eBay have grown so much over the years that selling there, for me at least, is not profitable enough to justify the time and effort I put into the items I sell. I decided to open my own store so I could continue doing what I love to do.
